{Skin Care Favorites} | 2016

Hey guys! As a blogger, I am exposed to TONS of different beauty products! I’ve tested so many products this year and am here to share my favorites with you. I’d also like to mention for anyone who may be wondering, that I only endorse products I fully believe in. Of course everyone has different products they like, but I want you to all feel confident in knowing I only recommend products that truly work for me!

I will be doing a few round-up’s like this where I share my favorite beauty products, but this post is all about skin care! I will be posting my favorite hair and makeup products at a later time.

When I say these are my favorite skin care products, IĀ don’t just mean facial toners and moisturizers. Here are my top 5 favorite products I use on my SKIN, in no particular order šŸ™‚

Silk’n Flash and Go Express Hair Removal

silk'n laser hair removal

I had laserĀ hair removal done a few years back, but couldn’t finish all the recommend treatments because I moved away. Luckily, I was sent the Silk’n Flash and Go Express Hair Removal Device.

At-home hair removal systems have gotten SO good over the years and I am loving this one! Of course, in-office lasers are stronger and may require less time to see results, but those treatments are also waaaaay more expensive and you can’t have it done in the comfort of your own home.

I’ve been using this hair removal system for a few months now and can absolutely see great results! There is a larger version of this device, but I prefer the smaller device since the ares I use it are my underarms and bikini line. It’s the perfect size for that!

If you are looking into laser hair removal, especially at-home systems, NOW is the time to start. Because you are only able to use them once a month, you will want to get in as many treatments as possible before summer comes around again.

I love my Silk’n Flash and Go Express and will continue to use is as long as I can.

*Note: it is not recommended for use while pregnant or nursing.

Fake Bake Flawless Self-Tanning Liquid & Mitt

fake bake self tanner

I’ve been self tanning for years and years. I used to go in and get sprayed, but seriously, ain’t no mama got time for that! Haha. I now self tan at home, and it wasn’t until this summer that I found Fake Bake Flawless self tanner. I have tried aerosol sprays, mousses, and lotions, but the liquid is by far my favorite way to apply self tanner! You simply spray the liquid onto the professional mitt provided in the kit and buff onto your skin in circular motions.

This stuff glides right on without streaks and really does get you brown (NOT orange). It’s actually perfect for lighter skinned people like me because it doesn’t go on too heavy either. In fact, in the summer when I have a bit of a natural tan I need 2 layers to get the color I want. But in the winer when I’m less tan, 1 layer is perfect!

I am so glad I found this product and it always makes me feel so much more confident to have a little color without the sun damage!

One word of caution…make sure to rinse your mitt out well after each use! Otherwise the product will dry on it and won’t glide on easily the next time around.

Million Dollar Tan Body Buffer

I only use this body buffer peppermint scrub on the days I am going to self tan, but I always look forward to those days because this stuff is scrumptious! It’s a tingly peppermint body scrub that preps your skin for self tanner by removing dirt, oil, and dead skin cells.

Honestly, you should use this stuff even if you don’t self tan, because it leaves you with super smooth and minty fresh skin. This is a gentle exfoliator, so it’s great for people with sensitive skin!

Belli Stretch Mark Minimizing Cream

Oh stretch marks….aren’t they just so fun?? NOT!

I used so many creams religiously while I was pregnant to ensure I wouldn’t get stretch marks but guess what? I still got ’em. And in the last week and half of my pregnancy of all times. I always say if only my son were born a week and a half earlier I wouldn’t have any stretch marks!

But I do have them. However, that doesn’t mean I can’t minimize them. I received this product and instantly fell in love with how fresh it makes my skin feel. It contains avocado oil and is super moisturizing.

It is recommended you use it twice daily for the first 4 weeks, then once a day after that. I have been using this product for a few months and can definitely see results. My stretch marks are a little lighter and I’m going to keep using this Belli Stretch Mark minimizing cream in hopes of getting them even lighter!

StriVectinĀ Multi-Action Restorative Cream

StriVectin face cream

I’ve talked about skin care recently on here, but I’ve really been making an effort to help keep my skin looking young! One of the most important ways to do that is by using a great skin cream.

I like the StriVectin Multi-Action Restorative Cream for a lot of reasons, but I love thatĀ it doesn’t leave my skin feeling greasy nor have a strong scent.

One of the best ways to stay looking young is to start using great products NOW. Don’t wait until you already have wrinkles to try and combat them. Ā And if you already have wrinkles, do what you can to prevent getting more! This cream targets 12 visible signs of aging: fine lines, wrinkles, density, firmness, sagging, texture, dehydration, dullness, discoloration, clarity, resilience and enlarged pores.

What more could you ask for in a face cream?

I received products for review. As always, all opinions are my own.
