I love being a mother! And not just because I now get gifts on Mother’s Day ;). Becoming a mother has really increased the amount of respect I have for mom’s, and I’m so glad there is a day to celebrate all their hard work and dedication. Finding the perfect Mother’s Day gift can be challenging. Wanting to give your mom something special, unique, thoughtful and all in your budget requires a little planning. Luckily, there are still 10 days left to accomplish that task.
I’ve put together a Mother’s Day gift guide with gifts ideas found at Stoneridge Shopping Center. Stoneridge Shopping Center is one of the BEST malls in the Bay Area. I’ve talked all about why I love it HERE & HERE, but their great store selection continues to be my top reason to shop there.
Here are some Mother’s Day gift ideas found at my favorite stores at Stoneridge Shopping Center.
For the Beauty-loving Mom:
Lush, Bath & Body Works, & Aveda are stores you’ll definitely want to head to if you have a beauty-loving mom. If your mom has a beauty product that you know she can’t live without, she’ll absolutely appreciate you stocking up on it for her! And on the other hand, as a fellow beauty lover, I find it fun to be surprised with new products. Some of my favorite products were gifts given to me that I had never tried before. You can always include a gift receipt if you’re worried about the surprise aspect.
You can always mix and match a few items and wrap them up super cute for a gift she’s sure to love!
For the Fashionista Mom:
Picking out clothing or accessories for another person can sometimes be a struggle. I know I’m always texting pictures of things to my husband or sisters asking “do you think she would like this?”. Sometimes it really pays to take a risk though. Something you pick out for her may become her new favorite item and one she never would have picked out on or own. Or she may just love it because you bought it for her. Either way, being thoughtful always goes so far with moms. And you can of course include a gift receipt if you’re worried she won’t like it!
For the Foodie Mom:
Although giving a gift card to her favorite restaurant is always a good idea, I like the idea of actually taking her out to that restaurant better! Simply give her a card explaining her gift is a dinner date with you. This way you get to spend some quality time together, and your mom will surely love it! Stoneridge Shopping Center happens to have three of my very favorite restaurants that I would love to take my mom out to or be taken out to.
And don’t forget to make a stop by Godiva after for dessert!
And a few more ideas…
Have you been to Color Me Mine? It is a pottery painting studio that is seriously so much fun! You could either make your mom something special from there (like a mug or jewelry holder), or take her out so you guys can paint together. It would be such a fun bonding experience, especially if you don’t get to spend that much time with her.
My mom is huge into exercise, so I know I can never go wrong with getting her something from Lululemon. Their workout gear is so high quality and can be worn for years and years!
And of course you’ll want to stop by Papyrus to pick out a card to include with your gift. I absolutely love the stationary selection at Papyrus. They also have some cute little trinket gifts & stationary you could check out there, too!
You could also take your mom to this yoga event for a great cause. Yoga and shopping…yes please!
Stoneridge Shopping Center is proud to support Manduka and Susan G. Komen on project:OM, a yoga class of one million to battle breast cancer. Donate $10 to Susan G. Komen and receive a free yoga class plus a discount card offering 15% or 25% off one item at participating retailers at Stoneridge Shopping Center. There are four class times the morning of Saturday, May 13th at 9:00, 9:30, 10:00 and 10:30AM. Make your donation and sign up for a class by visiting https://www.manduka.com/projectom/classfinder
As you can see, Stoneridge Shopping Center is a one-stop shop to pick up gifts for all the diverse Mothers in our lives. Putting a little thought into your Mother’s Day gift will go a long way (I can attest to that now that I’m a mother!). 🙂
What are you getting your mom for Mother’s Day this year?
